My dear friend and fellow mom blogger Kidizona asked me to take their family pictures and it was amazing. First off, her girls and my girls went to preschool together and are still besties. Secondly, Lindsay and I grew up in the same place (Southern California) and we are both desert transplants. We became instant friends.
Mom was a little nervous about how her girls would do, and I told her (like I do my other moms), we let the girls lead the session. I make sure we go at their pace, let them play, let them take breaks, have a snack; I have even turned music on even mid session. I always say, if you feel good and are having fun that will show through in your images.
